Senior Health Fair

This morning, the Vancleave Public Library helped local senior citizens improve their mental and physical health.
Camellia Home Health held a senior health fair to do its part to help its elderly citizens and their caregivers. Seniors were able to have blood pressure screenings, flu shots and eye examines. There was also a representative on hand to hand out information on sitter services along with home healthcare and hospice.
Ashley Sneed, business development representative for Camellia Home Health, said, “This is an extremely important event because there’s not been an event like this in Vancleave before. We’re trying to get the word out to the people that live here so that they can know the resources that are available to them when they need them.”
Camellia representatives say they hope to do similar fairs throughout the year.
