Secretary of State Hosemann on voter turnout
Mississippi Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann was in Jackson today encouraging voters to go to the polls.
Voter turnout across the state is expected to compete with record numbers in the past. Secretary Hosemann expresses the importance of casting your ballot. “We are at the half way point, we are not through yet. Now that the weather has cleared, it has become quite pleasant to cast a ballot. It is clear to me that we are going to have a record turnout for mid years and your vote may well make a difference here. I mean we could have a runoff or maybe not we could find out who is in the runoff or maybe not. Everybody that hasn’t cast a ballot needs to go vote.”
