Sal & Mookies in Biloxi closes its doors

Hard on the heels of the news that Fill-Up with Billups has closed its doors in Biloxi, Sal & Mookies announced it has closed its doors.

The popular pizzeria that opened in 2015 announced yesterday they were moving in a different direction.

The owners also announced a new restaurant would take over the property. This morning, Cameron Bell Properties said it sold the property to new owners, the Half Shell restaurant group.

Half-Shell Owner Kevin Fish said the location is going to be a new concept, not a Half-Shell or a Rackhouse restaurant.

He said details on the restaurant will be coming soon. So, we will keep you posted.
