Things cleared up a bit after yesterday’s cold front passed through the Gulf South. High pressure begins to dominate the area over the weekend, leading to some of the best "December" weather we’ve seen so far. Highs will stay near 58 for both Friday and Saturday with nights dropping into the 30s. A new frontal system begins to move into the area near the beginning of next week, which is expected to bring more rain around Tuesday.
