Ryan’s Monday Afternoon Forecast

Monday afternoon was one of the hottest we have had all year, if not the hottest, but we will slowly cool down through the rest of the week. Today we saw temps reach 90, and although we’ll cool down into the mid 70s tonight, I’m expecting a high of 91 for tomorrow afternoon as well. With today’s very “summer-like” conditions, we had an early preview of what’s to come in terms of sudden afternoon thunderstorms, which moved through Gulfport right around showtime (5:30). Expect very similar days over the next week with temps gradually dropping into the upper 80s, with a the chance of more thunderstorms during the hottest part of the day. A frontal passage is expected around the start of next week that will break the monotony for a while.
