Ryan’s “July 1st” Forecast

Well, July 1st is here and it feels like mother nature was holding a few degrees back until just now. We still have a few hours of sunlight left and have already reached an afternoon high of 95, so we could still see another degree added. Heat index values are near, and above, 100 across the Gulf Coast this afternoon so enjoy the outdoors with care today. Tonight will be another warm one, near 77, under mostly clear skies with light South winds becoming West overnight. Tomorrow will be similar to today, slightly drier and with plenty of sunshine with an afternoon high expected near 94. Sunday changes a bit, adding a 20% chance of showers and a few clouds, but otherwise will be quite nice. America’s 230th birthday will be warm and sunny as well, but with a slightly higher chance of showers (near 30%). Don’t worry too much though, any showers will likely be short-lived and light so I wouldn’t cancel your Independence Weekend plans just yet.
