Ryan’s “Dry Tuesday” Forecast
We had a few showers and sprinkles moving through the area today, but overall it was a very dry Tuesday afternoon. We’ll see another cool one tonight, low near 77, with light winds from the South and mostly clear skies. Tomorrow will bring back our mostly clear skies, an afternoon high near 92, and our usual South Mississippi humidity. To be honest, with only a few minor exceptions, that is pretty much the next seven days of your life here on the water. Expect a small (between 20% & 30%) every day during the hottest parts of the day. These aren’t expected to be much more than widely scattered showers with an occasional thunderstorm mixed in, but instability metrics are high enough for the formation of some severe weather if the conditions are right. Strong high pressure moves into the area just before the weekend, bringing some higher temperatures and potentially dangerous heat index values and it wouldn’t surprise me to see some heat advisories in place around this time.
