Ryan’s “Boring Tuesday” Forecast

It’s been a bit of a boring Tuesday so far, but “boring” weather is good weather and today did not disappoint. We had plenty of sunshine and blue skies this morning which lead to a hotter and humid afternoon, with a small chance of showers. Tonight’s low will still be warm, near 77, but calming winds will eventually shift NE as we head into tomorrow. I’m still not expecting much in the rain department over the next few days, but afternoon showers are certainly possible during the hotter parts of the day. Essentially, expect partly cloudy skies, temperatures in the upper 80s, and a low chance of showers from Tuesday-Saturday. We’ll see a slight increase in rain chances on Sunday to start off the week, but skies should really open up and allow some much needed sunshine as we head into the “meat” of next week. Tropical Depression Six formed this evening, further strengthening is expected over the next few days but it’s impact on the Gulf Coast is expected to be slim to none based on it’s current path taking it Northeasterly into the middle of the Atlantic. Tropical models are picking up on several areas of interest out there over the next few days, so it looks like a busy second half of August on the Tropical front. Stay tuned for further developments.
