Reward offered for info in Harrison County arson case

Investigators have launched an arson investigation into a fire that destroyed a home on Turan Road last week.

They are offering a reward for more information.

Today, crews returned to the scene of the burned two-story, wood-framed house that burned Friday. Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set and are currently looking for the person or people responsible for setting the fire.

The Mississippi State Fire Marshal’s Office is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.

This is one of several fires that fire crews have responded to in that area that were determined to be arson.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, Fire Rescue, or the State Fire Marshal’s Office immediately.
