Residents of the Pillars of Biloxi celebrate at Spring Festival

Spring has sprung and the Pillars of Biloxi is taking advantage.

The Pillars of Biloxi hosted a spring senior festival this afternoon to help increase engagement for the residents and community.

The Pillars is a full scope facility which provides long-term care, short term rehab, and much more.

In an effort to showcase the fun activities the Pillars offers, the residents got to dance to live music and enjoy food while playing games at different vendor stations. Community Relations and Marketing Christiana Calhoun said, “My favorite part of it is them interacting and having fun and you know sometimes people think they come to a facility like this… they think they’re inside and they don’t get to do anything but we like to have fun. We like to go outdoors, have popsicles and burgers and hamburgers. They take them on trips, go to the park, and we just have fun.”

The Pillars of Biloxi looks forward to hosting events quarterly for their guests.
