Rebels end three game losing streak with win over Vanderbilt
The Rebels are coming off a big time bounce back victory over Vanderbilt.
Quite the happy homecoming after spending more than a month away from the Vaught which was highlighted by a 49 point second quarter. Ole Miss emerged as the beneficiary, scoring 28 unanswered points led by sophomore quarterback Shea Patterson who passed for 351 yards and accounted for five total touchdowns.
With a three-game losing streak now in the rearview mirror, he’s ready to silence the talk of a turnaround. “I think everybody needs to relax with the whole turnaround thing because we’ve been through so much stuff that nobody even realizes. Played Alabama, number one team in the country, at home. Like I said, played Auburn away. And then Cal, we had chances to win that Cal game. We’re young, and we’re growing as a team every day,” said Patterson.
Saturday’s game against LSU will be the third ranked opponent for the Rebels in their last four games.
