Rapiscan Systems Charity Challenge March 24th-25th

For the second year in a row, the Rapiscan Systems Classic won’t be played due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

In its place, Fallen Oak Golf Club in Saucier will host the Rapiscan Systems Charity Challenge on March 24th and 25th.

This private charity pro-am will feature 26 professional golfers with all proceeds going towards the Birdies for Charity program.

The Rapiscan Systems Classic is aiming for a return to play in 2022 as one of the first tournaments on the Tour Champions calendar in late March.

Here’s what Tournament Director Stephen Schoettmer said in a statement earlier today: “We are excited to host the Rapiscan Systems Charity Challenge and continue our mission to give back to the local community with what we expect to be our largest two-year giving total in the tournament’s history. We also continue to have constructive meetings with our key tournament partners and hope to announce an official return to play on the PGA TOUR Champions for 2022 sometime in the near future.”
