Independence Day is shaping up to be a great day across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Expect plenty of sunshine with afternoon highs again in the mid 90s. If you’re attending fireworks festivities, temperatures will remain warm after sunset, falling into the upper 70s during the evening.
Rain chances stay low through early next week, with a isolated to scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms Sunday through Thursday. Outside of a few pop-up storms, expect mostly sunny skies and highs in the lower to middle 90s each day.
With the hot and humid conditions continuing, be sure to stay hydrated and take breaks if spending extended time outdoors.
