Proposed Waterfront Designs Biloxi

The Biloxi City Council is expected to take a position on the proposed waterfront design standards and guidelines during Tuesday’s meeting. The designs include what the future developments along Biloxi’s waterfront would look like if the city did receive funds. During a hearing last week, there was no opposition to the proposals. City officials tell News 25 there would be a 25 foot access way along the waterfront which would be important for two main reasons.

“Number one public safety it allows our fire and police vehicles to access the waterfront whether there’s a fire or any other type of emergency…that’s also going to allow us to have a boardwalk that wraps around the Biloxi Peninsula.” – Vincent Creel Public Affairs, City Of Biloxi

To voice your opinion on the waterfront designs you can head to the City Council meeting tomorrow at 6 pm at Biloxi City Hall.
