Procession, funeral services for Lt. Mike Boutte set for Tuesday, Feb. 9

BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. (WXXV) — Final arrangements have been made for fallen Hancock County Sheriff’s Deputy Lt. Michael “Mike” Boutte, who was killed in the line of duty on Monday.

Lt. Boutte was fatally shot while responding to a call in the Necaise community earlier this week.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Feb. 9 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Bay St. Louis Community Center located at 301 Blaize Avenue.

Immediately after visitation, the funeral service will take place from 11:30 a.m. until about 12:30 p.m., followed by a procession to Veterans Memorial in Biloxi.

For those unable to attend Lt. Boutte’s funeral services in person, a live stream will be broadcast on the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/HancockCountySheriff/.

Graveside services at the memorial will be private, with only immediate family members attending.
