Probation hearing for Stafford
Thomas Stafford, the man accused of strangling 65-year-old Jerry Floyd Kirkendall Sr. to death in Latimer, will soon be back in Mississippi.
A Portland, Oregon judge ordered Stafford to be returned to Jackson County to face capital murder charges. The judge did not sentence Stafford to anymore jail time related to the drug charges he faced in Oregon.
Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell says travel arrangements are being made, but it is uncertain when Stafford will be back in the state.
