Most popular dog names of 2020

Dog lovers were not in love with traditional names like ‘Fido’ and ‘Spot’ this year.

The website rover.com released its list of 2020’s top names for dogs and the site notes that many of the popular monikers are also on the list of top babies’ names.

For instance, the top three female names for dogs, ‘Bella,’ ‘Luna,’ and ‘Lucy,’ are also top baby names.

When it comes to the guys, the top canine picks were ‘Max,’ ‘Charlie,’ and ‘Cooper’.

Celebrity names were also a big draw in 2020. The monikers ‘Kanye’ and ‘Tom Brady’ trended up this year while the usually popular ‘Beyoncé’ trended down.
