Ocean Springs’ Blake Noblin signs with Ole Miss baseball

Ocean Springs senior Blake Noblin has played his last game as a member of the Greyhounds, but it won’t be the last game of his athletic career.

Late last night, Noblin announced his decision to sign with the Ole Miss baseball program, fulfilling his dreams of playing at the Division I level.

Noblin also starred as a three-year starter at quarterback at Ocean Springs. A two way player on the baseball diamond, Noblin is heading back to Oxford as a right-handed pitcher and his numbers back that up.

Through 15-and-a-third innings this season, Noblin racked up 33 strikeouts to go along with a 0.91 ERA.

He tells News 25 “Ever since I was a young kid, I have always wanted to follow in my dad’s footsteps and play a sport at Ole Miss. It was very surreal to finally reach my goal. I’ve been waiting for a chance and here it is.”
