North Bay Elementary School News Program

It was lights, camera, action for North Bay Elementary this morning.
Today, students auditioned to see who could make the cut for their morning news program. Nine talented fifth graders gave it their all while reading and reporting the news in front of News 25’s Toni Miles, Laurene Callander and Shannon Davidson.
Four students were chosen to read the announcements during live feeds before school starts. Aislyn Leary auditioned for the newscast. She said, “I like people to know me and normally I feel shy like nobody knows me.” McKenzie Boudreaux also auditioned. She said, “I like being able to talk on the camera and have all my friends see me up there.”
The news program at North Bay Elementary has been around for 11 years. They also have students run the behind the scenes tech equipment as well.
