Nominate an honoree for ‘Don’t Worry, Be Happy’

The Mental Health Association of South Mississippi is looking for nominations.

They are looking for people in our community who deserve to be honored at the upcoming ‘Don’t Worry, Be Happy’ fundraiser on July 15th.

If nominated, you’ll assist them in collecting items for the silent auction. The nomination deadline is Tuesday, March 29th.

They’re looking for people doing good in the community. If selected, you’ll be a part of a photo shoot and enjoy an honoree breakfast. Kimberly Barta with Mental Health Association of South Mississippi said, “We’ve had realtors, boutique owners, the chief of police last year was one of our honorees. We have girlfriends that just come together and do the event together. It’s a lot of fun. They raise packages for our auction. They put them together and auction them off that night.”

To nominate an individual visit their website and click the nominate button on the top of the home page.

The Mental Health Association specializes in raising awareness and this is the association’s biggest fundraiser of the year.
