No Bond For Accused Killer

A judge revoked bond for the Long Beach man accused of murdering Deverick Johnson Monday night.
According to the Harrison County Jail Docket, 28 year old James McDowell is not bondable.
McDowell is accused of shooting Johnson in the head and fleeing the scene, causing a standoff with Gulfport police on Tuesday morning.
Charity McDowell and Michael Taylor were also arrested for accessory after the fact in Johnson’s murder.
Court documents show the shooting stemmed from an argument over a stolen gun and money.
The Harrison County Jail docket shows a history of felony charges against McDowell, including a drive by shooting arrest in 2016.
