New Restaurant Needs Employees
One local restaurateur is up to his old ways and bringing something new to the Coast.
Next week, restaurant owner Rob Stinson will be opening up his newest restaurant Pelican Wharf, currently Beach Bums. Before Pelican Wharf can get off the ground, Stinson will be holding a job fair tomorrow at the restaurant.
The new restaurant is perfect timing for the dozens of employees without a job after Bonefish Grill closed its doors earlier this week. Stinson tells News 25 he’s already hired 11 former Bonefish Grill employees to run the restaurant that will be bringing a little Cajun to the Coast. “We needed to do the job fair then we found out Bonefish closed. It only made sense because they’re excellent employees. They’re well trained and they have great work habits. It’s going to be uniquely presented, quite a bit of grilled seafood that’s done with a Cajun flair. So you may have a beautiful piece of fresh mahi-mahi done on a bed of creole sauce with some local boiled shrimp,” said Stinson.
The job fair will start at 11 tomorrow at Beach Bums on Highway 90 in Biloxi.
