New Athletic Education Complex at MGCCC Perkinston

It’s the biggest addition to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s football stadium since it was first built and it’s open just in time for football season.
Officials were on hand at today’s ribbon cutting, marking the opening of a state-of-the-art athletic-education complex at the MGCCC campus in Perkinston. The new three story building includes classrooms, locker rooms, training facilities, meeting rooms, a press box and suites for fans.
MGCCC President Mary Graham said, “The building, great education and great coaches, it’s like a triad. It’s a three-legged stool. You got to have all the pieces, you got to have the right people, you have to have the right facilities. That was the missing piece.”
Head football coach Chad Huff said, “They will be successful in the classroom, but they’re also going to have the best that’s out there to give them resources to come here and be the best football player as well as a student as they can possibly be.”
The MGCCC Bulldogs will get to enjoy the new additions to their stadium at their first home game September 8th against East Mississippi Community College at 7 p.m.
