NCBC Community Workshop Tonight

The Gulf Regional Planning Commission wants to hear from anyone living around the Naval Construction Battalion Center in Gulfport. The workshop tonight is the commission’s way to get input from residents in the area as they conduct a joint land use study. They want to learn about your experience of having a navy facility in your area. Officials tell News 25, they want to hear it whether it’s good or bad. Tonight’s meeting will be in Woolmarket from 4:30 to 6:30 at the Woolmarket Community Center. There will be another meeting tomorrow in Gulfport at the same time, but at the Westside Community Center.
