Multiple arrests made in Gulfport
A 17-year-old from Gulfport is being charged as an adult for three counts of aggravated assault.
Around 5:30 yesterday, officers responded to the 1800 block of 43rd Avenue for a reported shooting. While officers worked the area, a Nissan Altima arrived on scene with gunshot damage. The vehicle was occupied with four juveniles, one of which was eight months old.
The resulting investigation led to the identification of Clarence Clay as a suspect in this case, wanted for three counts of aggravated assault with bonds at $150,000 per count. Clay was arrested and transported to the Harrison County Jail.
Upon further investigation, two other arrests were made. Paudrekia Spivery was arrested for an outstanding warrant and Tythisha Eason, Clay’s mother, was arrested for resisting arrest as officers were attempting to arrest Clay.
