Monday 072015 Forecast

Active weather on the Gulf Coast continuing to be dominated by an extension of the Bermuda High. Lack of frontal movement through the area causes our primary source of lifting to be daytime heating, so expect an increased chance of scattered thunderstorms for the next few days, maxing out at 60% coverage on Tuesday. Showers will lower the overall temperature, but heat index values near 115 could be felt during the hottest parts of the day, so be sure to plan your day for high temperatures and the chance of afternoon rain.  Night time low will be near 78, with a light southwest wind shifting towards the West throughout the day.
