Mississippi’s Sales Tax Holiday is Friday, July 31 to Saturday, Aug. 1. Here’s what’s eligible to be tax-free.

(WXXV) — Mississippi’s sales-tax-free weekend will take place over a two-day period from Friday, July 31 to Saturday, August 1, 2020.

According to the Mississippi Sales Tax Holiday amended by the Legislature in 2019, sales tax will not be due on certain articles of clothing, footwear or school supplies if the sales price of a single item is less than $100.

The Mississippi Department of Revenue lists these items as Eligible (Non-Taxable) or Non-Eligible (Taxable):
