Mississippi Highway Patrol releases July 4th travel enforcement numbers
Mississippi Highway Patrol’s July 4th holiday travel enforcement period is now in the books.
Across the state, troopers responded to 110 crashes over the holiday weekend, including two deadly crashes in Desoto and Marion counties.
The number of crashes and travel related deaths are both up slightly compared to last year.
This holiday enforcement period ended overnight at midnight.
