Miss Aquarium Pageant coming to South Mississippi

The Inaugural Miss Aquarium Pageant is coming this summer.

The pageant is a natural pageant that will help build self-esteem and confidence in young women as they become future leaders in our community.

The overall winners from three divisions will represent Mississippi Aquarium as hospitality ambassadors.

Winners will represent the aquarium and spread their mission, education initiatives, and conservation efforts throughout the community.

Miss Aquarium winners will also move on to compete in the Miss Magnolia State Pageant. Mississippi Aquarium Public Relations Jeff Clark said, “It’s the first time we’ve done this. We’re going to have the rehearsals on Saturday, July 24th. The actual pageant will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday, July 25th. We have two age groups, ages 0-11 and then ages 12-18, and we’re calling this a natural pageant.”
