Memorial Physician Clinic setting up temporary locations for COVID-19 testing

In honor of ‘building a healthier community,’ the Memorial Physician Clinic will have more drive-up COVID-19 screening and testing sites in various districts in Harrison County.

Over the next week or so, there will be testing sites set up in D’Iberville, Gulfport, Long Beach, and Biloxi.

If you are experiencing flu like symptoms, you will first be tested for the flu and if that comes back negative then you will be swabbed for COVID-19.

You are encouraged to bring your insurance card with you, although currently there is no co-pay or deductible at this time. Memorial Hospital Vice President of Clinic Operations Matt Walker said, “We are trying to use the mobile units and meet the community where they are and provide more of a focused offering so that we can quickly identify what is going on in that pocket, that area in the community then really quickly address who needs to be sheltered in place for a little bit longer.”

All temporary testing sites are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Locations include:

  • Tuesday, April 21st at the D’Iberville Civic Center
  • Thursday, April 23rd at the Lyman Community Center
  • Friday, April 24th at the West Harrison Civic Center
  • Tuesday, April 28th at the Woolmarket Civic Center

Social distancing will be observed. Do not exit your vehicles at the site and wear a mask if you own one.
