Marijuana infused cereal treats seized in Jackson County

Citizen complains result in the seizure of 16 plastic bags of marijuana infused cereal treats in Jackson County.
Last night, the South Mississippi Metro Enforcement Team witnessed a drug deal at the Lake Mars Boat Ramp in Gulf Park Estates. Authorities say 19-year-old Deshea Johnson of Ocean Springs was trying to sell the treats to three juveniles.
Johnson is charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Sheriff Mike Ezell says deputies are aggressively working the drug trafficking in Gulf Park Estates. He wants parents to be aware this stuff is making the rounds.
