Man arrested with a stolen firearm at Biloxi Casino

On 24 September 2015, the Biloxi Police Department arrested 35 year old Lucas Michael Hickman of Biloxi and 38 year old Jamie Lynn Guice of D’Iberville on charges stemming from an investigation into a reported man with a gun call at the Imperial Palace Casino. The investigation revealed that Lucas Michael Hickam had displayed and pointed a handgun at an individual in the parking garage of the casino during a verbal confrontation. Hickam and a white female left the scene prior to police arrival. Boomtown casino contacted Biloxi Police reporting that Hickam and the white female entered their establishment after receiving a bolo of the incident which provided a physical and clothing description. Biloxi Police responded to Boomtown Casino where they made contact with Hickam and his female companion identified as Jamie Lynn Guice. Officers recovered the handgun from Hickam which was reported stolen through the Long Beach Police Department in 2012. Both Hickam and Guice were found to be in possession of a controlled substance which was identified as Methamphetamine. A criminal history revealed Hickam to be a convicted felon for a 2007 felony shoplifting charge through the Gulfport Police Department.

Hickam was charged with Possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of controlled substance to wit methamphetamine. Guice was charged with possession of a controlled substance to wit methamphetamine. Justice Court Judge Bruce Strong set bond at $50,000.00 per charge, Hickam having a total bond of $150,000.00 and Guice a total bond of $50,000.00.
