Local teacher publishes children’s book “Tip your Tooth Fairy: A Classroom Tooth Hunt”

A third grade teacher at St. Martin East Elementary School is now a published author of a children’s book.

Samantha Richardson is a lifelong Biloxi resident and now the published author of “Tip your Tooth Fairy: A Classroom Tooth Hunt.”

Samantha says she was inspired by one of her students who literally lost her tooth in her classroom. Not only did Samantha write the book, but she also illustrated it.

She hopes to share this fun story from the Coast with children all across the world. “I love the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It is the best place to live and I would really appreciate if they could support a local teacher and a local author. I also illustrated the book as well. All of the pictures are photographs from my school and I just illustrated the characters on top. So, it is really neat to get the students excited like ‘oh my goodness, I see my school and that is my cafeteria and my playground.”

You can find ‘Tip your Tooth Fairy: A Classroom Tooth Hunt’ on Amazon. It is Amazon Prime eligible.
