King’s Christmas Display back again in Woolmarket

The King’s Christmas Display is back again this year, bigger and brighter than ever.

What started as a small family tradition in 1956 quickly grew into a beloved Coast tradition. The King family for many years welcomed residents and visitors to their home to enjoy a Christmas display put together with love.

The tradition ran for more than 30 years but had to take a 22 year break after Mrs. Mary King, one of the founders of the display, passed away.

King’s daughter, Lisa Krol, says the tradition keeps coming back by popular demand. “We spent many hours repainting and making new items and fixing everything over the entire year. In Christmas of 2018, the King’s Christmas Display was reborn.”

During the display there will be hot chocolate and an appearance from Santa. The display is free and open to the public.
