Jackson County man sentenced for child exploitation

A Jackson County man was sentenced to more than a decade in prison today.
Sixty-one year-old Juan Guzman was sentenced to thirty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections where he will serve 15 of those years behind bars. Guzman pled guilty in July to two counts of child exploitation which occurred nearly two years ago.
Authorities say Guzman took photos and videos of a four-year-old child after instructing the child to pose inappropriately.
Upon his release from prison, Guzman will serve at least five years on post-release supervision and register as a sex offender.
