Insufficient Evidence in Samurai Sword Killing

An Ocean Springs man accused of killing his neighbor by stabbing him with a samurai sword is no longer facing charges after a Jackson County grand jury ruled there was insufficient evidence.
Johnny Romero, who was 18 at the time, was charged with second-degree murder in the 2014 death of Shannon Bowen by stabbing him in the chest with the sword.
