Illegally obtained gun in Zaylan Sparkman shooting

Gulfport police released new details regarding the shooting that took the life of Zaylan Sparkman.
According to Chief Leonard Papania, the gun used to kill the child was illegally obtained. Police found Zaylan suffering from a single gunshot wound on Sabine Street Friday afternoon.
The investigation later revealed that his 16-year-old brother, Albert Deonta Craft III, was the one who pulled the trigger. Craft was taken into custody without incident and is being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Facility in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
