High School Baseball: Gulfport vs. Tupelo

If there’s a high school baseball team that knows how to win a one run game, it’s the Gulfport Admirals. Aside from a game two South State loss to Oak Grove, they’re a perfect 13-0 in that department. Or at least, they were before tonight.
Game one of the state championship series versus Tupelo and Gulfport making its first appearance since 2005.
The Golden Wave hand Gulfport it’s second one run loss of the year. Admirals lose 2-1. They get right back at it at 4 p.m. tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Pearl River Central gets to sit on its game one win for a couple of days, awaiting game two against Oxford at 1 p.m. on Friday.
