Harrah’s Gulf Coast donates to Humane Society of South Mississippi

Harrah’s Gulf Coast presented a check for more than $22,000 to the Humane Society of South Mississippi.

The charitable funds were raised by Harrah’s Gulf Coast’s guests through donated change and gaming vouchers.

The funds will be used to further the organization’s mission to help improve their facility and continue their mission as a no-kill shelter.

Harrah’s Gulf Coast President of Marketing Nicholas Breaux-Fujita said, “We have a very long-standing relationship between our organization and the Humane Society of over a decade and it’s a cause that means a lot to us.”

HSSM Chief Executive Officer Lori West said, “It’s really important that patrons of Harrah’s Gulf Coast and people that patron this casino understand that the casino is very involved and very invested into the community. It’s just one more touch for the people across the Gulf Coast to think about the Humane Society.”

Next week is National Adoption Week and Humane Society of South Mississippi is looking forward to adopting out some of their pets.
