Gulfport Exposition of Photos and Artifacts

Gulfport city officials are looking to take a walk down memory lane and they want the public’s help.

Tomorrow at the Gulfport Police Department, they will host an expo of old Gulfport and Coast photos and artifacts. This event gives people the opportunity to see and share in the history of Gulfport. People are encouraged to bring their own collections to display.

The event will be from 6 to 8 tomorrow evening and free to the public. “We have some stuff that we are going to be showing to the public for the first time in years. We are inviting the public to bring stuff in, too. So, if you have old memorabilia, whether it is advertising stuff or its photos, bring it in and let people see and we will talk about it. We will take pictures and everybody will get to see it. We will see what happens from there. We are really excited. It’s a cool opportunity. There is such a rich history here.”
