Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport evacuated after fire
A fire erupted at the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport Sunday just around 8 a.m.
The fire started in the baggage claim area after a piece of TSA equipment that scans bags caught flame. Officials evacuated the airport soon after.
The fire was taken care of with a fire extinguisher before firefighters could arrive. Passengers were allowed to enter the airport again within 20 minutes.
There were no injuries or damage to any bags.
