Gulfport begins city project to collect debris

Starting Monday July 13, 2020, the City of Gulfport, along with Utility Partners, LLC and Waste Pro, will begin a city-wide project to pick up debris placed on the sides of streets and alleys.

The City and its contractors will collect tree and vegetative debris placed by property owners in the City right-of-way (on the back sides of street curbs/sidewalks).  Debris should be placed over five feet away from fire hydrants, water meters, manholes, drainage boxes, and any other utility structures.

Construction demolition or contractor debris will not be included in this debris removal project, and contractors are reminded they are responsible for the disposal of debris/rubbish associated with their work.
