Grant Me Hope: 15-year-old Kashmere is hoping to be adopted

Every Monday on WXXV we feature a child from Mississippi hoping to get adopted.

Today you’ll meet Kashmere, a 15-year-old girl who likes to play volleyball and listen to music.

“Hi my name is Kashmere.  I’m 15.  I’m a city girl, I want to be in a big city.  If I can go anywhere in the world on vacation, I would go to California or New York and I know California is beautiful. “

“I like to dance on TikTok.  It’s hard to learn the dances but you just got to keep trying till you get it.”

“I like plain cheeseburgers, frappes, four cheese macaroni, spaghetti, soul food, greens, corn bread.”

“The greatest gift somebody ever gave me for Christmas, I would say my brothers and sisters.  They are my greatest gift.”

“Family means a lovable, careable family that will always love you no matter what.  Take care of you, have fun with you.  If I was adopted in a family, I would feel good because when your down you’ll have somebody to tell you that your better than that.  I feel like you shouldn’t have fear of nothing.”

“I never really had nothing great in my life except for my brothers and sisters and my mom, papa.  I just want like, a family that will love me, take care of me and just spoil me.”
