Gov. Reeves announces Restore grants for two projects on the Coast

Governor Tate Reeves has announced two Restore Projects on the Coast have been issued treasury grants.

Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport will receive $6.2 million to create a construction-ready site for aeronautical development. The site will be operated by the Regional Airport Authority.

Funds will also be used to demolish the current vehicle fleet maintenance building and construction of a new maintenance building.

The Broadwater Marina Restoration Project will receive $5 million to repair existing marina infrastructure and encourage redevelopment of the marina as well as economic development on the north side of Highway 90.
