Golf course embezzlement: employee under investigation

A Jackson County employee is out of jail after allegedly taking money from the county owned golf course in Moss Point where she worked.
Sheriff Mike Ezell says 29-year-old Katlin Shouse of the Wade community was arrested after the manager of the Whispering Pines Golf Course reported an employee was embezzling money.
Shouse is charged with one count of felony embezzlement after stealing over $1,000. She was taken to the adult detention center where she posted bond on Friday. It’s unknown at this time how much money Shouse allegedly took.
