Getting a holiday shape up at the Salvation Army

Though we are headed into the Thanksgiving holiday, it’s never too soon to start wrapping your mind around a New Year’s resolution.

The Salvation Army Kroc Center is offering a program called ‘The Holiday Shape Up.’ It’s a $20 a month fitness incentive. The membership is to encourage folks to take steps toward and maintain health and wellness in 2020. Salvation Army Public Relations Rep. Morgan Shiyou said, “That covers you throughout Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years and gets you right on target to start your resolution. With that membership you get access to our fitness center, our basketball gym, the pool, everything and any program we have going on we get a discount.”

Through this program the Kroc Center will waive the $50 registration fee to become full time members.
