George County Football: M.J. Daniels commits to Ole Miss
The outcome of the Egg Bowl doesn’t seem to bother one high school football standout from the Gulf Coast.
On Friday, George County’s M.J. Daniels made his verbal pledge to the Rebels despite their dramatic 21-20 loss at the hands of Mississippi State in the 92nd annual Egg Bowl.
Even after the firing of Head Coach Matt Luke, Daniels is still 100 percent committed to a future in Oxford.
According to our media partner, the Sun Herald, in 2019, the junior helped lead the George County Rebels to their first playoff appearance since 2016, playing a heavy dose of quarterback, wide receiver, and defensive back.
