Fish fry fundraiser for Gautier fireman

On Saturday, Coast residents have the chance to help a fireman in need.

Lt. Dan Kauppi was injured in a vehicle accident in April and has been receiving special treatment at Shephard Medical Center in Atlanta.

A fish fry benefit will be held at the American Legion in Gautier from 11 until 2 p.m. Plates will be $10 and all the proceeds will go towards covering Lt. Kauppi’s medical bills.
