First Phase Complete
Contractors have completed the first phase of new lighting along the Popp’s Ferry Bridge. The Led lights run along the eastern side of the bridge for a quarter mile. Although the installation was originally planned to take a few hours yesterday, the construction ran into yesterday afternoon. The Popp’s Ferry Bridge, traveled by over 21 thousand vehicles a day, includes 21 lights illuminating both east and west sides. The project will resume once Christmas is over with a deadline of January 1st.
