First day of school at St. Patrick High School

Summer vacation is officially over and it was back to the books for students at St. Patrick High School.
While this year’s school year started off rainy, officials says they are excited and ready for another successful school year both inside and outside of the classroom.
After improvements to academics and winning state titles last year, Principal Matt Buckley tells News 25 they will continue the success, but add new ways for students to advance their skills. “All the students will be issued a laptop. They’ll take that home with them each day and they’ll be able to have to complete homework assignments, to turn in assignments online. They’ll also be able to collaborate with their classmates and peers and just have access to tons of resources.”
The school also added to the lunch program for this school year allowing students to have a wider variety of options.
